BookMarketingBuzzBlog: 1 Million New Blogs Every 10 Days

WOW! I feel like this past week has just flown by.
This self-publishing thing is time-consuming. LOL Marketing on social media means that I have been learning how to use Twitter, LinkedIn, create a BLOG......... Oh, yeah, I still need to make time to edit and of course write that next book.
Gads if the rest of 2015 goes like this I'll be lucky to see next year.
This was an informative page for me. I am one of those people who had a few items on my list of New Years resolutions this year. One was to make an effort to put out a blog at least once a week. I've been racking my brain on how I was going to do that. Brian offered some fantastic ideas that I found helpful. If you have questions on the what or how of Blogging He covers it well.

BookMarketingBuzzBlog: 1 Million New Blogs Every 10 Days: WordPress says 100,000 new blogs are created daily.  It already has 65,000,000 blogs.  Tumblr has over 102 million blogs.  LiveJournal ha...

Special Edition!

Hello everyone,

I just got through formatting and uploading this Special Edition Book. This is a Special Edition, 450 page book, which pulls the first three stories from my NM Ranch Friends and Relations Series together. It is available in Print only to help with the 2015 project for Authors Supporting Our Troops.  This is a group ran and maintained by Armand Rosamilia through his Facebook pages.

This is a project that hits close to home. I am a military brat, have been a military dependent and have had family members in the service. I know that there are a lot of different ways a person can contribute to supporting our Troops and many items they may need in the field. I am also aware that our troops have down time that could be filled with book if they are made available.  This group is all about getting author signed copies of books to our Troops.

Read more about it here:
http://armandrosamilia.com/…/authors-supporting-our-troops…/"

The print price of this book is $19.99
Each sale will help with getting Author's signed copies of their books to our troops serving overseas.

What is your definition of home? For some it is the place they were raised and think of as their roots. For others it is a place found that provides love of family and community. Most think of home as their sanctuary, safe haven, and the place where they are accepted for who they are. The stories of the Contemporary Western Romance series, NM Ranch Friends and Relations, depict men and women who have found their home, someone to love and a chance to belong.

Matt's Summer: She is the new owner of the ranch he grew up on. He investigates the background of a name he was told of who owned the ranch. Not liking the information he learns he hires a private investigator and sets off a chain of events that will threaten the lives of the people living on the ranch. Once the dust settles can these two ever accept the attraction that has simmered between them for years without hurting each other?

Nathan's Storm: Autumn Storm moves back to New Mexico to start a new job. Agent Graves is just finishing his eight year investigation and contemplating retirement. Five years after a brief affair their paths cross again. The attraction these two share is intense, but is it enough for them to share their future together?

Phil's Hope: Spring Hope is the baby of the family and returning home. Her sisters think she is a flight kid, who will be a college student forever. She's got secrets to share and apologies to make so she can move on with her life. When everything is said and done, will she be able to stay and be happy or will she leave again?

Feel free to share this as much as you would like. The more people to see it means the more people that might be interested in helping the group out. Thank you everyone!

Best wishes for the New Year.

My first New  Year's resolution is to find time to write a post for my blog at least one a Month, if not more often. I was surprised that I had let this go for a few months, but there you go. I got caught up in my writing and the editing process. The last post I wrote I was just getting myself set up to market my second book and still trying to navigate the various marketing options available to me as an indie Author. I know have three books of my NM Ranch Friends and Relations series on the market.

Over this past week I stumbled my way into a few groups that I can share posts of my books. I have discovered a group of fellow authors who are sharing their work as well. I still feel like a novice with my efforts to get my stories out there for readers to discover. Oh, but I am enjoying the attempt.
Of course it hurts nothing that I am an avid reader and have now discovered a list of books I want to read. Here are a few I found to read while I was looking at the various groups.

Copperhead
Copperhead Strikes
By Juliette Douglas and her Freckled Venom series:

I've read both already and thoroughly enjoyed them. Juliette has a wonderful way of drawing you into her characters. The old west setting comes alive as the red headed heroine moves through town as a bounty hunter and ends up being a deputy. The hero is the town Marshal who can not quite get his head around this woman's personality. Her tough take no crap exterior contrasts the secret actions to make sure two boys are well cared for.

These two track down murderers and break up bar fights, while trying to figure each other out. He learns, eventually, how to keep his demanding comments to himself. She works on that dreaded trust issue that won't let her live a normal life. Mind you this is a process they are working with while fighting criminals and the negativity of having a woman working as a deputy. Of all thing! Who in their right mind would hire a woman for the job?

In Dreams
By Heather Mullins

This is the next book on my reading list. It is a paranormal thriller. Well the first chapters are working out just fine for me. I look forward to reading it.

Here's to a happy and productive New Year.
Thank you ,
